We’re coming back to over the board, again! Get ready! Our next event will be the Don Bidgood March Regular (Grand Prix #2) on Sunday March 20 at MSVU.
The event is open to all players in grades primary to twelve. The registration fee will be $15 and prizes will be awarded. See the attached poster for more details. Registration is required in advance here.
The NSSCA follows the Nova Scotia COVID-19 Restrictions and Guidance (https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/restrictions-and-guidance) at our events as well as any guidelines and restrictions that our venues enforce. This means the following:
- All players, guardians, volunteers and spectators over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination to participate and complete a COVID declaration (MSVU policy)
- All players, guardians, volunteers and spectators will be required to wear masks at all times (MSVU policy)
- Hand sanitizer will be available for players before they play their games
- Players, parents and guardians must stay in the tournament room (there will be a section for parents) except when traveling to other areas (washroom, outside, etc.) (MSVU policy)
To prevent the spread of illnesses, players, guardians, volunteers and spectators are asked to avoid the events if they are feeling ill or have any symptoms such as cough, fever, headache, runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing.
