The Nova Scotia Chess Challenge is the tournament that qualifies players to the Canadian Chess Challenge (CCC), which is the National Scholastic Chess Championship. The CCC is organized by the Chess n’ Math Association. Students compete against other players in the same school grade, from across Canada. The twelve winners at the provincial tournament advance to the CCC on Victoria Day weekend.

2013: Ottawa
2014: Winnipeg
2015: Quebec City
