NSSCA Rapid Online Chess Tournament #9 on July 12

Sunday chess fun returns with the next chess event hosted by Jerjis, this Sunday! Remember that these events are now Swiss Style. This is the same system that is used for our in-person events, where you will be paired with another player of similar score after every game in the round is completed.

Note that players interested in playing in these tournaments will need to join Team Nova Scotia. See details below:

IMPORTANT: Please note that this is a Swiss Style tournament and you need to join Team Nova Scotia to be able to play. Membership to Team Nova is free. Open to all ages and skill levels and is open to anyone( not restricted to NS players). Just click the link below to join.

As with our previous tournaments you need to have an account on www.lichess.org to join these tournaments. For this tournament, you also need to be a member of Team Nova Scotia. The tournament will be Swiss style meaning that after your first game, you will be paired against people with similar scores. There will be five rounds and the games will be 10 minutes long with zero second increments.

Please note that this tournament is open to all ages and skill levels and is not restricted to Nova Scotia players. Parents are responsible for supervision of young children during online chess activities.
