Chess Puzzle Answer

Analysis:

White is attacking and has 4 pawns for a knight.
Black king is stuck and can't move.
White queen is under attack by the Bishop on g4.
Ne6 would be checkmate if the Bishop on g4 didn't defend that square.

Conclusion:

Remove the defender! Bishop g4 is the only piece that holds the game together for black!

Answer:

1. Qxg4!

There's not much that can be done. If black takes the queen, Ne6#. If black doesn't take the queen, the e6 square is now attacked by the queen, and white is just up 4 pawns.
